The Public Affairs & Community Outreach Office is responsible for working with the media to inform the public and residents of Ashtabula County of the daily happenings of the Ashtabula County Sheriff's Office. The Public Information Officer's responsibilities include issuing press releases, scheduling news conferences, coordinating interviews of the Sheriff and staff and providing official information using various news outlets and social media.
The Public Information Officer maintains the agency's website, providing both written and visual content, and manages the agency's social media presence.
The Public Affairs & Community Outreach Office is also responsible for writing and managing all state and federal grants the agency applies for and receives.
Our Community Outreach efforts focus on building and maintaining a close, positive relationship between the Ashtabula County Sheriff's Office and the communities we serve. We attend community events, host educational forums and develop outreach initiatives to engage the community.
If you are interested in having the Ashtabula County Sheriff's Office attend your community event, please contact Stacy Millberg at 440-576-3514 or via email.
